About Philogram

Philogram is a double peer-reviewed annual research journal published in the hybrid model by the Department of Philosophy, University of Kerala.

The journal is dedicated to fostering discussions and debates on various philosophical traditions and contemporary themes of philosophising.

Aim and scope

Philogram focuses on discussions and debates on various philosophical traditions, inclusive of the Indian and Western traditions, theoretical and applied philosophies, analytic and continental philosophies. The thrust of the journal is to foster originality of the articles irrespective of the terrain of philosophy. However, the journal places emphasis on themes related to core philosophical engagements and is pertinent to cutting-edge research in philosophy.

The first issue of the journal will be launched in mid-2025 and will be available in both online and print formats. The articles will be published online, accessible through the journal website, and offline with a minimum number of hard copies. The University of Kerala will print and publish the articles. A single issue will contain 15 to 18 articles.

The journal will strictly adhere to the global publication standards and policies. RNI registration and application for ISSN (print and online) will be fulfilled after the publication of the first issue. The editorial team shall be uncompromising in keeping the quality of the journal, which includes a rigorous blind review process by two professors for every paper received. The editorial team is bound to keep the integrity and timely publication of the journal.
